Dan Fishburne got his start in the glass repair business while working for an area glass shop to help him fund his education at the University of South Carolina. After graduating from USC Dan bought Furr's Glass Service (located on the corner of Park and York in Aiken) and opened the door to his new business - Glass Works!
Once the business was off and running, Glass Works opened another location in a rented building at 2185 Whiskey Road. Finally, when a building on Owens Street became available, Glass Works moved from the rented shop and bought the Owens facility which is now Glass Works' permanent location.
